Mohamed’s career has taken him from the Levant to the GCC, Africa and Europe, where he gained vast experience in investment strategy, portfolio allocation, venture capital, corporate finance, risk management and regulation, business and technology set-up, and real estate and construction. His more than 10 years in Lebanon and the region has given him in-depth experience in advisory, venture capital, investing and banking, and has included positions at Booz & Co, and the Banking Control Commission of Lebanon.
In addition to his role at More Capital, Mohamed is a co-founder and partner at Phoenician Funds, a VC fund management company. Mohamed holds two executive master’s degrees from Rotterdam School of Management and Ecole Supérieure des Affaires and a bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut.
Ali has 15 years of finance, banking and investment experience in Lebanon and the GCC with major banks and financial institutions. Prior to joining More Capital, Ali was AGM and Head of Corporate Banking at Banque Misr Liban (BML).
Throughout his career, Ali has gained extensive experience in diverse fields, including corporate finance, public relations and relationship management, banking, financial management and analysis, investment strategy and allocation, entrepreneurship, risk management, compliance and regulation, and law.
Ali holds an MBA from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) as well as a bachelor of law from the Lebanese University.
Jad brings over 10 years of experience in advisory and banking in MENA, Europe, and Asia, including roles at McKinsey, Booz & Co., and J.P. Morgan. His international career has taken him across the globe, and has given him in-depth experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, strategy, organization and governance, implementation and execution, as well as business and technology set-up.
In addition to his position at More Capital, Jad is the founder and managing partner of Phoenician Funds, where he manages the day-to-day operations. Jad holds a master’s degree from ESCP Europe and a bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut.
Mounia El Saad
Mounia has over 6 years of experience in advisory and investment analysis including roles at Boston Consulting Group, Booz & Co., and Morgan Stanley.
Throughout her career, Mounia has worked across multiple functional areas including investment strategy, due diligence, private equity, venture capital and governance in several industries such as Real Estate, Hospitality, Transportation, Telecommunication, Food& Beverage as well as Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
Mounia holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the American University of Beirut with high honors.
Zad gained extensive expertise in law and mainly in developing and assessing policy while working as a Policy & Research Consultant for various International Organizations.
In addition to the above, Zad is a co-founder of “Makanat”, a startup providing a sharing economy platform.
Zad holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy with Distinction from London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Politics from the American University of Beirut. Zad also holds a Bachelor of Law from the Lebanese University.
Ali Hajj Diab
Ali brings experience in financial and risk management through internships in reputable local and multinational institutions. Moreover, Ali worked for one year as a Graduate assistant at the American University of Beirut.
Ali holds a Bachelor degree and Masters degree in Finance both from the American University of Beirut where he was awarded the high honorary Beta Gamma Sigma.
Head of Internal Audit
Houssam brings more than 14 years of experience in Banking, and mainly in Operations and Internal Audit. Prior to his position at More Capital, Houssam held the position of Senior Internal Auditor at Bank Audi.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Business & Computer University College (BCU) and he is currently pursuing a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certification.
Hadi brings in 3 years of experience in Back-Office and research. Hadi worked as Back-Office Manager at a Lebanese Financial Institution and as a research analyst at a regional research company.
Moreover, Hadi co-founded City Care Denmark, an NGO in Denmark that serves the purpose of helping the homeless and the needy.
Hadi holds a Bachelor degree in Finance from the Lebanese American University. He is also currently working on his Masters Degree in Finance at the American University of Beirut expecting to graduate in 2020.
Andree brings more than 8 years of experience in Accounting and Back-Office operations through her work at a Lebanese Financial Institution.
Andree completed her Baccalaureate at the Official School of Jal-El-Dib and she completed a number of courses in English, Accounting, and Business Communication at different institutions including USJ and American Lebanese Language Center.
Consumer Protection Officer
Mohamad is a fresh graduate with some experience in Audit, Banking, and Entrepreneurship gained through various internships with reputable institutions including KPMG and Bank Audi.
Mohamad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Phoenicia University where he was the president of the Business Society for three consecutive years.
